Surgical steel 316L is a good alternative to the titanium G23 jewellery. Surgical steel 316L is a precious metal, which is very wide-spread in the medical technology as well. However, the use is limited in the piercing area to completely healed piercings. Our surgical steel 316L – jewellery fulfills all requirements of the European nickel regulation. Surgical steel 316L contains less than 0,05% nickelratio and consequently fulfills the current requirements. We recommend PTFE or titanium G23 for the first or intimate piercing.
